Bold action needed to reduce carbon emissions

A warning in a new UN study  about the need for bold action on climate change has highlighted the importance of a just transition to low carbon green economies. It strengthens the ILO‘s call for economic strategies that support clean energy, foster resource-efficient economic growth, create income and decent jobs, and reduce poverty and inequality. IPA agency staff numbers stabilise as ethnic diversity level increases

The IPA has published its 2021 Agency Census revealing that overall staff numbers within IPA agency membership stabilised in 2021, in comparison with the considerable drop in numbers measured in the 2020 Census. Concurrently the level of ethnic diversity increased by almost 20% year-on-year. According to the IPA Agency Census, now in its 62nd year, the number of employees within IPA member agencies on 1 September 2021 was 22,062, down 0.6% on the 2020 figures of 22,188.
