CEO Doug McMillon recently attended the grand opening of a green hydrogen plant at Walmart’s Quilicura Distribution Center in Santiago, Chile, representing the company’s continued investment in and commitment to renewable energy. Nestlé UK and Ireland on track to help net zero progress in successful double-stacked rail trial with Tesco

Nestlé UK and Ireland has delivered a first of its kind rail container which facilitates double-stacked pallets, to Tesco last week. The advanced rail container utilises a roof raising mechanism, allowing products to be double-stacked from floor to ceiling operating at full capacity before the roof is lowered for transit. ICO consultation on the draft biometric data guidance

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) is producing guidance on biometric data and biometric technologies. The first phase of this guidance (draft biometric data guidance) is now published for public consultation. The second phase of this guidance (biometric classification and data protection) will include a call for evidence early next year.  The draft biometric data guidance explains how data protection law applies when you use biometric data in biometric recognition systems.
