Advertising rule changes following review in response to the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024

CAP and BCAP have published the outcome of their consultation on amendments to the advertising Codes following a review to align them with the Unfair Commercial Practices (UCP) provisions in the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. The UCP provisions came into force on 6 April 2025. The CAP and BCAP Code rule changes come into force immediately. Triodos Bank recognised as top-scoring Best Buy by Ethical Consumer

Triodos Bank has been awarded ‘Best Buy’ status by Ethical Consumer magazine for its personal current account and savings accounts, with both scoring 96 out of a possible 100 points. Fincantieri and Viking announced recently the first cruise ship in the world to be powered by hydrogen stored onboard for both propulsion and onboard electricity generation, the “Viking Libra”.
