Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine continues to disproportionately affect women and girls. Women in Ukraine face higher rates of poverty, displacement, and gender-based violence, and are the majority in need of humanitarian assistance. Recent OECD data shows that, while official development assistance to Ukraine jumped from USD 1.3 billion in 2021 to USD 18.9 billion the following year, 90 per cent—or USD 17.1 billion—of this funding did not include any gender equality objectives. Setting targets on DEI in production can be a challenge for half of major multinationals

New research from the WFA reveals that nearly half of major multinationals (49%) are struggling to measure Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) efforts in the content production space and the same number find it hard to set consistent targets across markets and suppliers.  More than four in 10 are also struggling to identify diverse suppliers, with 22% saying that while driving DEI initiatives in the US is more straightforward, the rest of the world is a challenge. UK hits 60,000 electric car charging points as rate of installation continues to rise

Zap Map and the UK Government’s Department for Transport (DfT) have published new statistics on charge point installations across the UK. The new figures show that the country has surpassed 60,000 public charging points. Operated by char.gy, the 60,000th charging device was installed on Natal Road, a residential street in Streatham, London.
