The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group (WBG), has committed a US$100 million loan to Santander Chile to finance green building projects. Recently UNESCO and Nestlé signed an agreement to support 100 youth projects around the world through grants, training, mentoring and networking. A budget of more than USD 1.7M will be mobilized. Renewable energy investment company, Thrive Renewables plc, has formed a strategic joint venture with the UK’s leading social impact investor, Better Society Capital, to mobilise £40 million for community-owned wind and solar projects across the UK.
