Our journey towards net zero is a testament to our commitment to environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and economic growth.”
“Achieving these targets is not something a business can do in isolation. We must collaborate with government bodies, the international community, NGOs, universities, scientists, and the entire supply chain. We are setting these ambitious targets for ourselves and are eager to partner with all stakeholders to make them a reality,” added Mobeen Chughtai, Group Head of Corporate Communications & CSR. “It is only together that we can drive meaningful change and create a sustainable future for all.”
The SBTi validation confirms that Soorty’s proactive approach to mitigating climate impact aligns with global efforts to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, representing Soorty’s accountable commitment to operate in an environmentally responsible manner.
The company’s comprehensive plan includes significant reductions in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, which are direct and energy-related emissions from its operations.
