Tesco is joining forces with leading sustainable resource management company Veolia, Groundwork and local councils to introduce greener areas in schools, and give children a stronger start by learning more about the environment. Veolia implements first UK approved technician training scheme for electric vehicles

To address the anticipated shortfall of 16,000 EV trained vehicle technicians by 2032, Veolia,  and training specialists, Autotech Training, have now implemented the first Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) approved qualifications for the company’s workshop teams. Veolia and Miracle-Gro launch innovative recycling scheme for plastic compost bags in garden centres

A new UK recycling operation involving Veolia, garden product brand Miracle-Gro, and Dobbies Garden Centres is now set to tackle the growing problem of the 100 million bags used for compost, soil and chipped bark each year. Developed from successful trials, the process will be the first time these low-density polyethylene (LDPE) bags will be collected and recycled into new products including garden furniture, plastic films and new bags. TotalEnergies and Veolia Join Forces to Develop CO2-based Microalgae Cultivation to Produce Next-generation Biofuels

TotalEnergies and Veolia have joined forces to accelerate the development of microalgae cultivation using CO2. The two partners will pool their know-how to develop a four-year research project at the La Mède biorefinery, operated by TotalEnergies, with the long-term goal of producing biofuel. Through photosynthesis, microalgae use sunlight and CO2 from the atmosphere or from industrial processes to grow.
