The UK subsidiary of the world’s largest food and beverage company, Nestlé, has signed a 15-year indexed fixed price agreement with Ørsted, the world leader in offshore wind, to buy green power from the Race Bank Offshore Wind Farm. Nestlé UK will buy the output of 31MW of the offshore wind farm’s 573MW total capacity, making it Ørsted’s largest fixed-price corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) in the UK. Nike Takes Steps Toward 100% Renewable Energy in North America

Avangrid Renewables, has announced that it has signed its second major wind contract with Nike, this time for 86 megawatts of Texas wind power. The power purchase agreement (PPA) will cover the remaining portion of Avangrid Renewables 286 megawatt Karankawa Wind Farm in Bee and San Patricio counties, just east of Mathis, Texas, along I-37. World’s first floating wind farm has started production

Hywind Scotland, the first floating wind farm in the world, has started to deliver electricity to the Scottish grid. The First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, has officially opened the wind farm.
