Groups of people wearing penguin papercraft masks have been popping up all around the world, as thousands of people join the call for the creation of the largest protected area on Earth: a 1.8 million square kilometre ocean sanctuary in the Antarctic. Nike Takes Steps Toward 100% Renewable Energy in North America

Avangrid Renewables, has announced that it has signed its second major wind contract with Nike, this time for 86 megawatts of Texas wind power. The power purchase agreement (PPA) will cover the remaining portion of Avangrid Renewables 286 megawatt Karankawa Wind Farm in Bee and San Patricio counties, just east of Mathis, Texas, along I-37. Previously Austin Energy announced its own Karankawa related PPA with Avangrid Renewables for 200 megawatts. The 2018 Edelman Trust Barometer reveals that trust in the U.S. has suffered the largest-ever-recorded drop in the survey’s history among the general population. Trust among the general population fell nine points to 43, placing it in the lower quarter of the 28-country Trust Index. Two of the biggest names in fashion, Kate Moss and David Bailey, joined forces to showcase Oxfam’s sustainable and affordable fashion. Kate is wearing an outfit chosen from over 136,000 items in Oxfam’s Online Shop.
