UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, kicked off its #WithRefugees World Tour on Friday, 6 April 2018 with a sports day at Jordan’s Za’atari refugee camp. The last straw: Waitrose ditches plastic straws in its cafes

UK Supermarket Waitrose will will only offer paper straws in its cafes, building on its pledge to not sell plastic straws from September 2018, The retailer’s commitment to reduce the impact plastic has on the environment will see all its cafes replacing plastic straws with paper versions from the end of April 2018.
