Without climate finance for states and regions there can be no net zero, warns Climate Group

Funding for climate action and policies at subnational level is essential to keep the world on track for 1.5 degrees of warming, especially as state and regional governments represent over 50% of all environment and climate spending. Progress on better social protection for 30 million of people

Twenty-five million people have benefited from improved access to social protection in the last two years, due to the ILO’s Global Flagship Programme on Building Social Protection Floors for All . The programme’s annual Development Partners meeting  noted significant progress made by the Programme in expanding and improving access to social protection globally.
