Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced a new all electric restaurant design that works to maximize energy efficiency in its equipment and systems and utilizes 100% renewable energy from wind power and solar through the purchase of certified renewable energy credits. The company recently opened restaurants with the new features in Gloucester, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida, with a third location opening later this summer in Castle Rock, Colorado1. Wind power generated a record 27% of electricity in Sweden in February

New data from energy think-tank Ember reveals that Sweden saw its highest-ever share of wind power generation in February with 27% (4 TWh). Following a strong wind month in January (26%, 3.9 TWh), Sweden also reached a milestone by generating over a quarter of its electricity from wind power for two consecutive months. This comes as Sweden has significantly increased onshore wind capacity installations in recent years. Last year, Sweden installed the second most wind capacity in the EU (2.4 GW). National Grid granted nearly £1m from Ofgem to fund eight net zero innovation projects

Eight National Grid-led projects exploring innovation in the electricity transmission and distribution networks have been given the green light to progress to the first ‘discovery’ phase of Ofgem’s Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) programme. Research from Bynder’s inaugural State of Content report has revealed that despite the current economic climate, 69% of global marketing teams have increased or maintained their spend on content creation, management, and distribution this year.
