DOE rips funding from over 600 awards for energy projects, ignoring bipartisan support and economic benefits

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is planning to terminate funding for over 600 awards totaling $23 billion, including a full termination of funding for the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs program. Big Issue Invest, the social investment arm of the Big Issue, has more than tripled its investment in businesses making a social impact in the past year, its 2024/25 impact report has revealed today.
