IPA publishes Agency Census 2024

The IPA has published its 2024 Agency Census revealing that overall staff numbers within IPA agency membership have increased marginally year-on-year. According to the 2024 IPA Agency Census, now in its 65th year, total employee numbers, within IPA member agencies, as at 1 September 2024, totalled. 26,787, up from 26,630 recorded in 2023. PRCA calls for fair pay and equal access to internships

The PRCA welcomes the Sutton Trust’s research and supports urgent action to address inequities in internships. It is unacceptable that 61% of internships remain unpaid or underpaid, disproportionately disadvantaging working-class graduates and widening access gaps. The PRCA believes that internships must offer meaningful learning opportunities, structured mentorship, and equal access, to build a more diverse and inclusive industry. Fundraising Regulator appoints four board members to start in April

The Fundraising Regulator is pleased to announce it has appointed four new members to its board to help guide the strategic direction of the organisation. Paul Amadi, Anne Heal, Nick Jones, and Girish Menon all bring extensive knowledge and experience in charity, fundraising and regulation. They will commence their new roles in April 2025. The BNP Paribas Foundation launches a new “Climate & Biodiversity Initiative” call for projects dedicated to the ocean and costal ecosystems

Through this 6th edition of the “Climate & Biodiversity Initiative” programme, the BNP Paribas Foundation will support between 7 and 15 projects on the theme of ocean and coastal ecosystems. Applicants can submit their projects from 21 January to 4 May 2025. The process is open to all scientific teams conducting research on these subjects from Europe. The Foundation is dedicating a total budget of 7 million euros to this edition, which has been labeled “Ocean Decade” by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO.
