HP has unveiled new data proving that ads created by diverse teams perform better. Measuring the impact of HP ads created before and after its 2016 diversity initiative was launched, Brand Monitor showed an impressive 6-point increase in purchase intent and HP Business Drivers in just one year. Marketing Mix Analysis, run by Nielsen, captured a 33% increase in revenue per impression. The PRCA has stated that 2018 “will be a defining year for diversity”, after revealing the positive findings of its PR and Communications Census. The PRCA has launched the PR and Communications Census 2018, which reveals that the diversity statistics have shown improvement and the industry is making progress towards becoming more diverse, in comparison to the PR Census 2016. The Taylor Bennett Foundation has strengthened its relationship with the CIPR and PRCA. The membership bodies have offered reduced price membership to the Foundation’s alumni in order to improve access to their services, and build on their commitment to joining forces to tackle the industry’s diversity issues.
