PRCA Global Confidence Tracker Q2 2025 reveals sharp drop in agency confidence amid shifting strategies

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has published the findings of its Q2 2025 Global Confidence Tracker*, conducted by Question & Retain. The results highlight a marked decline in agency confidence worldwide as macroeconomic pressures and strategic reassessments continue to reshape the sector. PRCA welcomes the introduction of the newly established Ethics Commission

The PRCA has welcomed the recent announcement by the Government to establish a new Ethics and Integrity Commission to oversee standards in public life. As part of the changes, the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments (ACOBA) will be abolished. ACOBA currently advises former ministers on post-government appointments but has long been criticised for lacking enforcement powers.
