Customers shopping at Tesco will soon see changes across its own brand milk – as the supermarket works with suppliers to make milk bottles even easier to recycle.  By removing coloured plastic and changing blue, red and green milk caps to a clear alternative – on around 425 million bottles of milk every year – Tesco is improving the quality of recovered material from household waste and enabling the cap to be recycled back into milk bottles. Nestlé UK and Ireland on track to help net zero progress in successful double-stacked rail trial with Tesco

Nestlé UK and Ireland has delivered a first of its kind rail container which facilitates double-stacked pallets, to Tesco last week. The advanced rail container utilises a roof raising mechanism, allowing products to be double-stacked from floor to ceiling operating at full capacity before the roof is lowered for transit. Tesco unveils fresh mince ‘pillow packs’ that use less plastic

Customers picking up fresh mince in some Tesco stores will notice a big change in how it’s packaged. Instead of the traditional tray/top wrap pack, shoppers will see two lines of mince in new ‘pillow packs’.
