Scottish Charity and Prosecution Service Act to Improve Criminal Justice Experience for Sexual Crime Victims

Scotland’s prosecution service is joining with Rape Crisis Scotland to obtain feedback from victims of sexual crime about their experience of the justice system. A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) and Rape Crisis Scotland (RCS). Under the new agreement RCS will share anonymous feedback on victims’ experiences of the criminal justice system and their views on the service provided by COPFS. Henley Festival (11-15 July 2018) has announced it will support two local charities in 2018: The Teenage Wilderness Trust and the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust, continuing its 35-year tradition of supporting local charities. Ralphs Announces Fundraising Effort to Assist with Wildfire Relief Efforts in Southern California

In response to the wildfires that have ravaged Southern California, Ralphs Grocery Company announced today that it would be collecting donations at the check stands in all of its supermarkets to help the victims, families and communities in Southern California affected by the fires. Customers can support the relief efforts to bring aid to victims of the wildfires by donating their spare change in specially marked collection canisters located at the check stands in their neighborhood Ralphs store.
