Blooming good lager supports Bumblebees

Camden Town Brewery has announced its latest Seasonal Hells beer, Blooming Hells Lager, will support UK Charity the Bumblebee Conservation Trust. This limited-edition spring lager is inspired by British Springtime, which wouldn’t be the same without bumblebees. Over the last 80 years, British bumblebee populations have decimated due to a reduction in the wildflowers they need for food and shelter. So, Camden is doing something about it. PRCA & LGcomms raise public sector concerns in ICO Consultation on Direct Marketing

The PRCA and LGcomms have issued a joint response to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) consultation on the Direct Marketing Code. The industry bodies have raised concerns regarding the ICO’s plans to classify all communication from public sector bodies as commercial and promotional. Examples of public sector communication that would be considered promotional include messages from GP surgeries regarding the availability of flu vaccinations for residents.   The new guidance would impose an unnecessary burden on public sector professionals who work in departments that are overstretched and under-resourced. PRCA launches in Latin America

The world’s largest PR body, the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), announced that it will launch in Latin America on 1st April, 2020. PRCA & CIPR issue joint statement on COVID-19 outbreak

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) have issued a joint statement praising the efforts of communications professionals during the coronavirus outbreak.
