SAS, Vattenfall, Shell and LanzaTech to explore synthetic sustainable aviation fuel production

Vattenfall, SAS, Shell and LanzaTech will together investigate the production of the world’s first synthetic sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) using the LanzaJet[TM] “Alcohol to Jet” technology on a large scale in Sweden. Instead of using virgin fossil material in the production process, the synthetic SAF will be produced from fossil free electricity and recycled carbon dioxide from district heating. 10.6M Brits describe their current mental wellbeing as poor

New research from the Co-op, in partnership with Mind, SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) and Inspire, reveals that 10.6 million Brits (just under fifth of the population) describe their current mental wellbeing as poor2, rising to almost three in ten (28%) amongst 16 to 24 year olds.
