Like many things this year the Great British Beach Clean will be a little different. The Marine Conservation Society are calling on more people than ever before to become beach clean organisers, adopt a stretch of beach, gather a small group and clean it up. New UK space projects to boost global sustainable development receive £3.4 million cash boost

On World Humanitarian Day, the UK Space Agency announced £3.4 million of new funding for 10 leading-edge projects that back UK academics using space to tackle global development problems – from the spread of malaria to human trafficking and forced labour. £14 million of National Lottery funding goes to tackle climate change across the UK

The National Lottery Community Fund has announced more than £14 million in grants going to communities across the UK to tackle climate change.
