Life Science Cares Boston and the Biogen Foundation have teamed up as inaugural sponsors of Food For Free’s new Just Eats Grocery Box program, a $170,000 effort to reduce food insecurity for 3,000 area families, starting this month. Bacardi and The NAACP Are Backing the B.A.R. with Grants to Black-Owned Businesses in the Industry

According to Nielsen, the Black community is significantly underrepresented in the ownership portion of the United States’ On-premise retail industry (bars and restaurants) at only seven (7) percent. Bacardi U.S.A. and the NAACP want to change that. The NAACP will be awarding Bacardi-sponsored grants to Black-owned businesses in the beverage alcohol service, sales, and hospitality industries as part of the Backing the B.A.R. DWP Kickstart Scheme: 60 new PR jobs given greenlight via PRCA gateway

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has confirmed the PRCA’s status as a Gateway organisation for the Government’s Kickstart Scheme, paving the way for PR agencies and in-house teams to employ young people deemed at risk of long-term unemployment. 25 PR agencies have so far been given the greenlight by the DWP to create 60 PR jobs via the PRCA’s Gateway application. The latest Advertising Association/WARC Expenditure Report expects the UK’s ad market to grow by 15.2% this year, an upgrade of 0.8 percentage points from the last forecast in October 2020.
