MLB and MLBPA Donate $1 Million to Emergency Food Services

Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) today announced a joint donation of $1 million to help fight hunger as a result of school closures and quarantines stemming from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. NCT switches to virtual antenatal courses in response to coronavirus

NCT has responded to the coronavirus crisis by moving its antenatal courses online. The charity is now running virtual classes for expectant mums and dads instead of its usual face-to-face courses. Co-op set to fast track recruitment of 5,000 new store colleagues

Convenience retailer, the Co-op, has announced plans to create 5,000 store-based roles in a bid to provide temporary employment for hospitality workers who have lost their jobs and to increase support for local communities, amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
