Aldi Trials Blister Pack Recycling Scheme In Supermarket First

Aldi is trialling a blister pack recycling scheme for its own-label medicines in a UK supermarket first. Britain’s fourth-largest supermarket is working with recycling firm TerraCycle to encourage customers to recycle their empty medicine packets made from plastic and aluminium foil. Aldi UK is partnering with the Fairtrade Foundation on the next stage of a £400,000 programme to support women in the Ethiopian flower sector to improve their lives.
